New Web Portal Highlights Leading Companies in Sustainability and Values-Driven Business Practice 

The Center for Values-Driven Leadership announces the creation of their new web portal, www.cvdl.org, which launched last week.  The portal is a clearinghouse of multimedia resources for executives and educators interested in sustainable business and corporate responsibility.

Visitors to the website will find a collection of videos featuring executives from some of the world’s most values-driven companies. Called “Values-Driven Exemplars,” these companies and leaders drive competitive financial performance by focusing on social, ethical, and environmental excellence. 

Featured companies include Shore Bank, McDonald’s, Google, Herman Miller, Gap Inc., and many more. Additional videos will be posted regularly. 

The Center for Values-Driven Leadership’s web portal provides a convenient location for delving deeper into the topic of private gain and the public good. In addition to videos, the web portal offers a regularly updated “recommended reading” list for those interested in topics such as leading change, sustainability, and women in leadership. The website also features information on other organizations and centers working in areas related to corporate social responsibility, leadership, and sustainability; and a calendar of events consistent with the CVDL’s mission to advance the understanding and practice of values-driven leadership for the benefit of business and society worldwide. 

“Our website offers a compelling look at the challenges and opportunities facing companies who choose to lead their industries in sustainable value creation,” says Jim Ludema, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Values-Driven Leadership. “The web portal will be a useful resource for practitioners, educators, and students around the world.”
